Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V.
Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. was founded in 2004 aiming to promote the cultural exchange among European countries and to contribute to the social integration of young people and adults. Thereby young people's and adults' competences with regard to culture and to the knowledge of European history, politics and society are to be strengthened. Through the organisation and implementation of diverse international projects, the association is dedicated to the coaching of volunteers, youth workers and professionals in the fields of youth and culture at European level. An essential part of the association's projects is to familiarize participants with the city of Dresden and its particular history. The results of the projects are presented to the public in the form of an exhibition, a show or a performance and contribute to the cultural life in the city. Through the association's projects and work, Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. seeks to promote active participation and EU citizenship. The association sees itself as a starting point as far as the exchange of culture and experience within the European Union is concerned.
