Surviving Recollection: stories from the deportation of Germans after WWII.
Between 1946 and 1948 about 230.000 Germans of Hungary were relocated to the occupied Germany. The main goal was the ethnic homogenization of the population and to give land to refugees coming to Hungary from the neighbouring countries. Surviving victims of the deportation talk about the past, their struggle for life and their fight in order to return home.
