GOALS AND DESCRIPTION
Presentations and preparations: Presentations of all partners: presentations were made but not all of the partners had videos made ready. Preparation of Olesnica meeting was made in general discussion.
Agenda
Methodological discussion was carried out with eight of participants. Discussion about concept of conflict was carried out with eight of participants.
Courses
Course for participants: Video how-to-make-it, filming and editing course was held to 15 of participants at the Voionmaa Institute by teacher of photography and video, Hannu Sinisalo. During the course were showed which video equipments should be suitable for this kind of interview video making. Also was guided how to make a short documentary video and also taught the basics of how to edit video with Adobe Premiere Elements 7 program.
Intergenerational
Introducing the Voionmaa Institute to the participants and introducing the project and participants to the students of the Voionmaa Institute in an open discussion. Also meeting the Viljakkala senior group at the Viljakkala Society house, open simultaneously translated discussion about the war memories of seniors.
Visits and meetings
Visiting Tampere museum centre Vapriikki and the exhibition 1918 Civil War. Visiting the Cultural House Telakka in Tampere and discussing about the situation of a free cultural house with an art gallery and theatre. Meeting Viljakkala senior group at the Viljakkala Society house, open simultaneously translated discussion about the war and conflict memories of seniors. Visiting the Viljakkala municipality, especially the war memorials of 1918 civil war and the WW2 at Viljakkala graveyard. Visiting the natural lakeside landscape of Finland: dinner at terrace restaurant Kultacasino (Gold Casino) in Viljakkala, in the former mine village of Haveri.
PROGRAM
Monday the 13th of May 2013
Most participants arrivd on Monday.
Welcoming evening on Monday 19.00 at Voionmaa Institute and some Finnish surprise, sauna. Bus transportation from Tampere about 18.30 and to Tampere later in the evening for those who stay in Tampere.
Tuesday the 14th of May 2013
For those who stay at Voionmaa breakfast 8-9, Voionmaa Institute.In the morning 9.00 bus transportation from Tampere to Voionmaa, about half an hour journey.
Introducing Voionmaa Institute and its students and departments with some video & photos & acting. Tuesday morning from 9.30 to about 10.30, Voionmaa Institute.
Presentations of partners as required.
Tuesday afternoon from about 10.30 to 11.30, Voionmaa Institute.
Lunch, from about 11.30 to 12.30, Voionmaa institute.
Workshops according to agenda, from 12.30 until 16.30. Coffee and tea from 14 to 15.
Finding Tampere -evening: Bus transportation from Voionmaa about 16.30 to the Museum Centre Vapriikki, exhibition 1918 civil war. Dinner at cultural house Telakka at 19.00. Later in the evening bus transportation back to Voionmaa.

Workshops according to agenda, from 9.30 until 14.30. Lunch about 11.30-12.30 and coffee and tea from 14 to 15.
Short video workshop, the computer class of Voionmaa institute, from 14.30 to 16.30: What is documentary video; also some principles making and editing it, also some technical advices. This very short version because as it has been said this workshop is secondary. I can continue this workshop on Thursday with those who are still here.
Finding Viljakkala -evening: Meeting our senior group at the Society House of Viljakkala at 17. Visiting Viljakkala graveyard: 1918 bullet holes. Dinner at at old Gold Mine restaurant by the lake Kyrösjärvi. Wednesday evening about 19.00-, Viljakkala. Bus transportation from Voionmaa 16.30 and back to Voionmaa later in the evening, bus continues also to Tampere.
